Beginning of Us

Documentary screening

Gray Area launched the Experimental Space Research Lab in 2019 with support from the Knight Foundation to explore the application of experiential art to some of the most critical challenges facing our world. The 11 selected artists spent 6 months co-creating the End of You, an exhibition that asks visitors to re-imagine their relationships with other humans, other species, and our environment. Join us for this special screening of The Beginning of Us, a short documentary film by Paul Ouellette and Madhav Nyapathi, covering the work of 11 artists, followed by a special panel discussion with the participants about their processes and reflections from the project.
